Generation linkage

I have, literally, about 10 posts that I'm almost done with but can't quite seem to finish. Until I do, here's a great song performed by two great bands from two different generations. I like to think, in some small way, that everything I post has something to do with democracy. Listen to the lyrics and see if you can find a way to relate the song to saving this country from the ruinous path that it's currently on.

"A democracy is more than a form of government; it is primarily a mode of associated living, of conjoint communicated experience." - John Dewey, Democracy and Education

I'm looking forward to the post on the Nazi girl's memoir. The dichotomy between the way one can feel about an individual as opposed to a group that person belongs to is fascinating.

That is indeed one of the ones that I've mostly written but haven't been able to complete.
