My computer ate my post

Last night I wrote a longish post and then put my computer into hibernate so all I'd have to do is turn it back on and publish it when I came into range of a wi-fi connection (I don't have home internet access.) So this afternoon I turn on my computer and as soon as it boots up it decides to restart to install updates, swallowing my unpublished post in the process. I could scream.

I'll try to rewrite it (probably tonight), but in the meantime, here's another
