A modest prediction

Prediction: not long after ABC's reboot of the sci-fi series V launches, the aliens in the show will be viewed as analagous to the Obama administration by persons like Glenn Beck and such.

Whether its the anti-christ or deceivingly benign aliens... what is it with US American culture that ANY and ALL expressions of trust and goodwill must be viewed with suspicion and hatred? Its utterly depressing...

It could be worse ... at least we don't have any significant amount of followers of David Icke, who believes that the aliens in V are literally analagous to the "elites" controlling the world.

Hm. I'm not sure I expressed that quite correctly, so I'll just say it outright:

Icke believes that there actually are reptilian aliens attempting to establish a New World Order.
