On yesterday's episode of Glenn Beck's Fox program he told his audience that efforts to provide Americans with universal health care (among other things) are part of "the cancer that is in this country ... progressivism" which is putting America "on the road to fascism."
The sad irony is that without access to adequate health care there are Americans who will be the ones getting the actual and untreated cancer, while Beck is busy demonizing the people interested in helping those Americans not die as "liberal fascists."
I also love how he's managed to connect the proliferation of "czars" to Mussolini. In Beck world, everything is part of a sinister, secret plan to implement a "liberal fascist" regime.

And during his 6/11/09 program he did something REALLY crazy... he went back as far as 1998 and listed predictions he's made over the years -- all of which have come true. What, that's crazy!? But they're only small events such as blood on the streets from a terrorist attack in New York, the government take-over of banks, and a major financial crash due to housing. Again, he made these predictions several years before each event occured. So, wise up Daily Doubter! Beck sees the big picture of what's going on in the U.S. and around the world and you can choose to keep your head in the sand if you wish... it's your life. As for me, my motto is LIVE FREE OR DIE! What's yours? If you don't have one, try this: "It is not truth that matters, but victory." Hmmm... who said that? Perhaps another fascist leader?

Yeah, I watched that. Amazing ... who could have forseen an economic downturn or New Orleans levies failing. He must be psychic or something.
