Sounds strange coming from me, but I would really like to know at what point did the United States Congress decide that it was to be in the business of deciding what private citizens can and cannot say?
Of course Limbaugh's devision of real American (people who agree with him) versus traitorous fake Americans (those who disagree with him) is corrosive and undemocratic and a mind-set suitable for a totalitarian state. Of course Limbaugh has a double standard about attacking the integrity of soldiers.
But Congress has no business attempting to regulate the speech of citizens by passing resolutions demanding retractions or apologies.

Hear! Hear!
So the Republicans do something stupid with a resolution feigning indignant outrage at the MoveOn.org Petraeus/Betray us ad. Then the Democrats think, they are doing something by matching tit for tat?
Knock off the bullshit I say and start preparing article of impeachment and denying funding for the war, and establishing a definite timetable for withdrawl. Then I might be impressed!
