Alonzo Fyfe at the Atheist Ethicist has written a response (better than mine) to O'Reilly's take on the student protestors in Boulder, Colorado. I rewatched the footage of O'Reilly and I realized that I had actually under-estimated just how insidious his remarks were. The clear implication of his statements is that those who are not of the "Judeo-Christian tradition" are totalitarian enemies of the United States of America.
I consider that to be dangerous demonization on par with the anti-Semitic German nationalism of the late 19th and early to mid 20th century, although thankfully lacking the pervasive and explicit eliminationist element.
