These factoids are taken from the description of Ann Coulter's latest book, Godless. Why do media outlets and publications choose to promote Coulter as some sort of pundit or intellectual to be taken seriously?**

*Actually, public shools do allow prayer. What they don't allow, is for faculty and staff to promote or lead prayer. Coulter is unable or unwilling to see the difference.
**I believe Coulter should be taken seriously, not because she offers anything of intellectual merit, but because she is influential. Obviously, promoting her as the former is different than recognizing the latter.
