The Environmental Protection Agency estimated in an internal report as much as $2 billion in yearly benefits from cutting mercury pollution just in the Southeast — 40 times the value the agency projected publicly for the entire nation.Ok, this is simply unacceptable. Omitting conflicting reports should have been bad enough, but this takes it to another level. Will the mainstream press please pick up on this story and let the public know that their health has been bought out by the coal industry?
