I'm not writing in response to your Escher post, although I have always been an appreciator of his work. I'm writing to validate you for your blog in general. It's obvious you are a literate and thinking person and lord knows we could use a lot more of those in todays world. I just happened upon your blog by hitting the 'next blog' button after editing mine today. That's about the extent of my blogging, as I find it hard to justify the time it takes to wade through the sea of irrelevent and mundane info out there looking for something worthwhile. I checked your blog - it certainly is unique, and I can't say that I know of any wandering minstrels seeking elected office, which is good to see ... we've already got enough businesmen, lawyers, and military in office.
