The Dark Side: The Inside Story of How The War on Terror Turned into a War on American Ideals (hc) by Jane Mayer for three dollars.
I've already read this before but did not own a copy. Given that I consider this one of the most important books to have been written during the Bush administration and how well researched it is, having a copy for my bookshelf was a no-brainer.

The Frontline episode predates the book; I watched the episode when it came out but can't call if any of Mayer's reporting was featured (I would be surprised if it wasn't, however)
But they are unconnected - both are allusions to a quote that Dick Cheney gave about the US having to work on the "dark side" to combat terrorists.
Mayer really did produce a supreme, important piece of reporting with this book, I wish more Amereicans were familiar with its content.
